To question one’s fitness for public service because one is a charismatic Christian misses the fact that any half-hearted believer at least claims allegiance to Christ
I write as a non christian whose family came here to get away from sanctimonious christians trying to foist their beliefs on us. For the most part that eary chritian settlers, the Putitans did not come here for it relgious freedom as we recognize they came here to get away from the Anglican Church and so they persecute the people whose theology they didn't like, like Roger Williams, Anne Hutchinson and the Quakers. I wonder if you would be so complacent about her beliefs if she were an observant Muslim. That should be the standard you use in addressing how her religous beleifs might influnce her legal judgment. As the song Jefferson and Liberty pust it:
