Gee, it's almost like micro-targeting voter groups and constantly repeating talking points ad nauseum is eroding the capacity for political candidates to describe a compelling vision for why they deserve to be elected.

The solution is obvious, the Conservative Party needs to split into English and French parties. The 90 or so ridings that are majority Francophone need their own right of centre party. They can caucus with the Anglo Conservative party on all relevant matters.
